I am thrilled to announce that Jess Renee Photography is officially open at Edwards AFB, CA! The move from Germany to California has been quite a change, but we are loving the desert. California weather has proven to be an absolute dream. The wind gusts are strong at times, but I can handle that while getting my daily dose of sunshine.
When we move to a new place, my first goal is to find potential session locations. Brandon found this location at the duck pond on base. The surrounding fields are full of Joshua Trees (which I LOVE!) and we found a few logs that make great seating for cuddly photos. I have a couple more locations to check out, so stay tuned for those posts at a later date. Here are some of the photos of my boys (If this is your first time "meeting" me, Henry is my son and Brandon is my husband) from the duck pond fields.
Love my boys! And I love this log!! The light hits it perfectly! I can imagine a sweet family cuddling and hanging out here.
The light in the desert is stunning! It is so different from the overcast I became accustomed to in Germany. It's a welcomed change!
I love the neutral backdrop of the desert! Wearing bright, vibrant clothing contrasts beautifully!
I am working on pretty ways to incorporate the Joshua Trees into my shots since they are so unique to this region...and so cool, right?!
