I photographed this family on a beautiful summer day in my favorite German field. Abi brought along the cutest dolphin cupcakes for the session and the kids loved it.

“Ultimately, we wanted a clear portrait of where our family is in life: while our children are young (and while we *are too!), how much our marriage has grown and where life has taken us – something we can look back to and celebrate at our 25th/50th wedding anniversary! No doubt, we have achieved our goal! We were/are very pleased with Jess and her work; she was equally professional and personable. She was full of life, and her love for what she does overflows, you can’t help but enjoy every minute of the shoot! Our most favorite part would be Jess, of course. She was such a delight to work with: her energy especially with the kids felt so genuine (very important to us!); she created a comfortable environment for everyone (including our beloved dog!), and she communicated instructions well before and during the shoot, which made the session flow smoothly. I had a very specific vision and set of scenarios for our session, which I felt will bring out raw emotions and reactions from my family. We appreciate very much that she listened and noted the highlights we aimed for such as specific frames and shots, and utilizing props. She seamlessly combined her photography style with the kind of family that we are, and captured what were most important to us. “
